On the 19th and 20th of November 2022, The WSSA Australia held The Australian National Sport Stacking Championships 2022!!
The Australian National Sport Stacking Championships were a great success!! For the 2nd year running we have the same Overall Champions with Lillian Collinson taking out Back to Back Female Australian Champion in '21 & '22 Huge Congratulations

On the weekend of October 1st and 2nd in The Penney Space, at Hackham East Primary School, we hosted The Australian Open 2022!! This is our first tournament Open to international stackers and with travel still not quite back to normal we were lucky enough to have a stacker from Singapore come and compete!!

Our Female Champion, Jane Chan, representing Singapore, had a great tournament taking out Overall Female honours in front of our own Lillian Collinson! Jaydyn Coggins, took out our Overall Male Champion with some great times and New Australian Records!

The Child Parent doubles is one of our favourite events!! It's great seeing the stackers teach their parents how to stack, and the parents enjoying Sport Stacking with their kids!! It's also one of my favourite events to watch!! I struggle to think of any other sport that has a dedicated event to competing with your parent!! Stacking is just awesome!! For the first time we had SS Child Parent Doubles competing!! We had two pairs competing, Corey Flynn and his Mum Maria, and Dylan Burford and his Mum Natasha! Corey and Maria taking out first place this time!!

We had quite a few first-time tournament stackers!! We were so impressed with their skills and times and can't wait to see how they all develop as they continue to practice and compete!!
A few notable mentions, Brendan Le, stacked his way into 2nd Overall Male and earned himself a spot on The Australian Lightning!!!
Jennifer Lippiello achieved 3rd Overall Female, in her first tournament and has earned a spot on The Australian Thunder development Team!! Can't wait to see what Jen does in the Future!! So much potential!!
Theo Briggs-Wilson beat the SS 7-10 Divisional Australian Records for the 3-3-3, 3-6-3 and the Cycle (to be verified) Theo also broke the 3-3-3 and 3-6-3 Overall Special Stacker Australian Records!! (to be verified)
